Guide to the Obedience of The God:
The God sent Messengers to every nation on earth to guide its people to obey Him and avoid disobedience. Every time a Messenger was sent some people accepted the guidance while others disobeyed.
“We raised a Messenger in every community (to tell them): “Serve Allah and shun the Evil One.” Thereafter Allah guided some of them while others were overtaken by error. Go about the earth, then, and observe what was the end of those who rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. [Qur’an: 16:36]
Warn and Give Glad Tidings:
The God sent Messengers to proclaim Truth and give glad tidings to those who follow it, and warn those, of the severe punishment, who deny it.
“We have sent you with the Truth to proclaim good news and to warn. Never has there been a nation but a warner came to it.” [Qur’an: 35:24]
Purify, Teach The God’s Book and Wisdom:
The God sent Messengers with a clear purpose of purifying beliefs, thoughts and perceptions about The God Himself, teach His Book of commands full of wisdom and benefit to mankind and to inform about things that the man did not know like the Jinn, Angels, hereafter, day of resurrection, destiny, and the existence of heaven and hell:
Just as We sent to you a messenger from among you, who recites Our revelations to you, and purifies you, and teaches you the Book and wisdom, and teaches you what you did not know. [Qur’an: 02:151]
Inform the Limits set by The God:
The God sent Messengers to explain and implement the boundaries and limits of His obedience and disobedience and the entailing results thereby in the hereafter, so that no one would have an argument before Him saying they were caught unaware and unjustly:
These are the bounds set by God. Whoever obeys God and His Messenger, He will admit him into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever. That is the great attainment. But whoever disobeys God and His Messenger, and oversteps His bounds, He will admit him into a Fire, wherein he abides forever, and he will have a shameful punishment. [Qur’an: 04:13-14]
Warn about the Day of Judgement and Recompense:
The God said that He will judge all human beings, only after they received the Message from His Messengers, and everyone will be judged based on his own actions:
We will question those to whom messengers were sent, and We will question the messengers. We will narrate to them with knowledge, for We were never absent. [Qur’an: 07:06-07]
The Messengers are to serve warnings that the good and the bad of each soul, depends on their own selves, and that no one would carry the or relieve the burden of others.
Whoever is guided – is guided for his own good. And whoever goes astray – goes astray to his detriment. No burdened soul carries the burdens of another, nor do We ever punish until We have sent a messenger. [Qur’an: 17:15]
Those who would disobey the Messengers would have awful torment in the form of hellfire, which is painful and wont cease to torture forever and ever.
For those who reject their Lord, there is the torment of Hell. What an evil destination! When they are thrown into it, they will hear it roaring, as it seethes. It almost bursts with fury. Every time a batch is thrown into it, its keepers will ask them, “Has no warner come to you?” They will say, “Yes, a warner did come to us, but we disbelieved, and said, ‘God did not send down anything; you are very much mistaken.” [Qur’an: 67:08-09]
Concluding the Argument:
One of the main duties of the Messengers is to conclude the argument and leave no excuse for the people to escape the decision of their Lord and Creator on the Day of Judgement:
These Messengers were sent delivering glad tidings and bringing warnings, so that people may have no excuse before The God after coming of the messengers. The God is All-Mighty, All-Wise. [Qur’an: 04:165]
